Sophie is an abstract artist based in Noosa, Queensland

Her practice is founded in a love of colour. She looks for the little moments where stories and details peer through layers of colour.

A creative career

Sophie has always drawn, painted and enjoyed a creative life. As a Copywriter for the past 20 years her career highlights include writing global TV ads for Guinness in Dublin and recording with Geoffrey Rush for Unicef.

Sophie also studied textile design and created “Bed Toppings” - sheets that turn beds into giant objects. Her hand illustrated collection were stocked in Top 3 By Design and Third Drawer Down. They featured a giant chocolate bar, sardine tin, flower bed or pencil case.
