This work challenges formal ideas of portraiture – visualising personalities by referencing absurd everyday objects.

To me, everyday objects are loaded with character and bring to life the eccentricities that makes people who they are. It’s my intention that these paintings are energetic, joyous and affectionate.

Exploring this practise unites previously unrelated areas of my life - psychology, storytelling, painting and illustration.
