I’ve always drawn but initially while I developed my painting style I wanted to keep the two approaches separate. I’ve now been combining the two, bringing illustrative elements into my abstract colour work.

It’s my aim that there’s enough detail to be suggestive but not to spell out the story - I hope for the viewer to interpret the piece their own way.
